The status board
The status board is a big-screen view of how check-in is going, meant for a wall display or a spare screen where the team can glance at it. It looks after itself: no one needs to sit at it. Put it on a TV at the back of house, or open it on any spare terminal.

What it shows
Section titled “What it shows”A header stays on screen the whole time, with the overall figures: how many are checked in, how many are still to come, and how fast people are arriving right now. Below it, a set of views rotates on its own, so the board covers everything without anyone touching it:
- Throughput. Arrivals over time, so you can see the rush and the lulls.
- By booking type. How each kind of ticket is progressing.
- By queue. How each queueA named group that tickets are placed in so you can direct people to the right check-in desk, for example General, Priority, or Escalation. A queue is a label and a grouping, not a physical line: you decide which tickets go in it and which desks work from it. A ticket can be moved between queues by a rule or by an operator. is flowing, and where a backlog is building.
- Desks. How each check-in desk is going.
- Merch pickups. How merch handover is progressing.
A view drops out of the rotation when it has nothing to show, so a board for an event with no queues simply skips the queue view.
Change how it rotates
Section titled “Change how it rotates”Use the control in the footer to change how long each view stays up, or to stop the rotation on one view. The dots let you jump to a view by hand.
