The attendee's ticket
When you find an attendee, their ticket opens. This page is a tour of that screen: the tabs across it, the details on the main view, and the actions you can take. Most check-ins only need the Overview.
The tabs
Section titled “The tabs”The ticket opens on Overview and has a row of tabs for the rest:
- Overview. The main view: key details, anything important to read, recent activity, and the action buttons. This is where you spend most of your time.
- Details. The full set of the attendee’s saved details and check-in answers.
- Related. Other tickets linked to this one, such as others in the same booking.
- Financial. What was paid and any balance owing.
- Addons. Extras on the ticket.
- Merch. Ordered merch and whether it has been handed over. See Handing over merch below.
- History. A log of what has happened to the ticket.
- Support. Any support notes, when there are some.
The Overview
Section titled “The Overview”The Overview shows the details you need to confirm the person in front of you: badge name, legal name, date of birth, email, booking type, registration status, badge number, and their queue if they are in one.
Two areas above the buttons are worth a glance every time:
- Important Info. Flags or notes that need your attention before you act. Read these first.
- Recent Activity. The last few things that happened to the ticket, so you can see if they have already been dealt with at another desk.
The actions
Section titled “The actions”The action buttons on the Overview are grouped by what they do:
- Registration: Check In, Check Out, Depart, and Add Note.
- Ticket: Print Badge, Print Receipt, Encode NFC Badge, Clear Queue, and Move to Queue.
- Edit: Edit Details and Edit Questions.
Which buttons you see depends on your station and the ticket’s state. Some are covered in their own guides: checking in on Check someone in, and reprints and queue moves on Handling problems.
Handing over merch
Section titled “Handing over merch”At a smaller event, the same operator who checks an attendee in also hands over their merch, without a separate table. Open the Merch tab on the ticket to see the ordered items, then press Fulfill on each one as you hand it over. Pressed the wrong one? Unfulfill reverses it.
At a larger event this happens at a dedicated table instead. See Merch pickup.
