Included merch
Included merch is an item that comes with a ticket rather than being bought in the store, such as a shirt that comes with every weekend ticket, or a tote bag that comes with a particular add-on. You set it up per event, choosing which booking types and add-ons include which product.
Set up an included item
Section titled “Set up an included item”Choose the product to include, how it behaves, and which booking types or add-ons it comes with.
- Merch product: the product to include, chosen from your store.
- Override title: an optional name to show instead of the product’s own, for when the bundled version should read differently.
- Quantity included: how many come with each ticket or add-on.
- Visible: whether the included item is shown to the attendee.
Apply to booking types and add-ons
Section titled “Apply to booking types and add-ons”Under Apply to, choose the booking types and add-ons that include this item. At least one is required. Anyone who books a matching booking type or add-on gets the item added to their ticket automatically.
Letting attendees choose a size
Section titled “Letting attendees choose a size”If the product has sizes, attendees need a way to pick one. Included merch does this through a question:
- Create a ticket question of the choice (SELECT) type, whose options are the size labels exactly as named on the product (for example Small, Medium, Large). Attach it to the same booking types or add-ons.
- Back here, set it as the size selection question.
The attendee’s answer to that question decides the size of their included item.
Making it optional
Section titled “Making it optional”To include the item only for some people, set an enable/disable question. Point it at a ticket question, and the item is included based on the answer, for example a checkbox the attendee ticks to opt in. Leave it unset to include the item for everyone the booking types and add-ons cover.
Applying changes to existing orders
Section titled “Applying changes to existing orders”Included merch is added when someone books. If you change an included item after people have already registered, use Refresh orders to bring existing bookings into line: it adds the item to bookings that should now have it, and removes it from those that no longer should. Use this after adding, editing, or changing what an included item applies to.
How it appears
Section titled “How it appears”On a ticket’s merch, included items are listed under Included with ticket, separately from anything bought in the store. They are collected at pickup the same way as purchased merch.
