Attendee blocklist
The attendee blocklist is a list of people whose orders you want a person to check before they are confirmed. It applies across every event for your organisation. When someone on the list appears as an attendee on an order, that order is held for review instead of being confirmed automatically.
How an entry matches
Section titled “How an entry matches”Each entry can hold any of:
- Legal name
- Badge name
together with a match mode that decides how the fields you filled in are combined:
- All matches only when every field you filled in matches the attendee.
- Any matches when at least one field matches.
An entry is checked against every attendee on an order: the badge name and legal name on each registration ticket, and the email of the person who placed the order.
What happens on a match
Section titled “What happens on a match”If any attendee on an order matches any blocklist entry, the order is held for review as soon as it is placed, and registration staff are notified. The order’s confirm rules are not run: the blocklist is checked first, and a match always sends the order to review, never to automatic approval or cancellation. A note on the order’s history records which field matched (legal name, badge name, or email), never the attendee’s actual details.
Manage the blocklist
Section titled “Manage the blocklist”Add an entry with any of legal name, badge name, or email, and choose whether they must all match or any one is enough.
