Payments

Your site takes card paymentsA record of money received against an order, such as a card charge, a bank transfer, or cash taken at the door. An order can have several payments. When they add up to the order total, the order is fully paid; until then it is partly paid. through Stripe, a payment processor. Before your site can accept a card payment, it needs a Stripe account that is turned on.

In the admin

Set up and check your Stripe connection in Payments → Stripe. Getting started is two steps: add a Stripe account, then turn on payments for it. See Connect Stripe for the three ways to add an account and how to tell when you are ready to accept payments.
