Rooms
Rooms let you group attendees into shared spaces such as cabins, dorms, tables, or accommodation, and decide who goes where. They suit camps, retreats, and any event where people are assigned to a physical space rather than just holding a seat.
Turning it on
Section titled “Turning it on”Room management is off by default. Switch on Enable Room/Cabin Management in Settings for the event, and a Rooms area appears in the admin, with a room list and a workbench for allocating people.
Two ways a room comes about
Section titled “Two ways a room comes about”Rooms appear in one of two ways, and an event can use either or both:
- Automatically, from a booking. A booking type with Create a room for each booking turned on creates a room to hold everyone on the order each time someone books it. This is how “book a whole cabin” works. See Rooms and registration.
- By hand, allocating people. You create rooms yourself and assign individual attendees into them, for example sorting everyone who bought a standard ticket into cabins. See Allocations.
