Queues and badge numbers
Two tools help you prepare tickets for the day by acting on them in bulk: sorting them into check-in queues, and giving them badge numbers. Both work as rules you set once and let run across your tickets.
- Queue assignment rules put each ticket into a check-in queue, so people arrive already sorted to the right desk.
- Badge numbers give tickets a human-readable number, which is optional and covered on its own page.
How the rules run
Section titled “How the rules run”Both kinds of rule work the same way:
- They are a list of rules in priority order: the first rule that matches a ticket decides the outcome.
- Each rule has conditions built with the shared rule builder, matching on a ticket’s booking type, tags, answers, and more. See Ticket rules.
- They can run automatically as orders are confirmed, so new tickets are handled as they come in, and in a batch you run over your existing tickets, so you can apply or redo them at any time.
