Individual codes

When a voucherA code a customer enters at checkout to get a discount on specific items, or to unlock an item that is otherwise unavailable to them. A voucher applies to the booking types, add-ons, or merch you choose, not to the whole order. It can be a single shared code or a set of unique single-use codes.’s usage mode is Individual codes, it hands out a batch of unique codes that each work once. This suits giving a different code to each person, so you can see who used which and stop one person using another’s. Set the usage mode when creating the voucher; this page covers generating and tracking the codes.

Orders → Vouchers → (a voucher) → Individual Codes

Generate a batch of codes, see how many have been claimed, and track each one.

Save the voucher first, then on the Individual Codes tab:

  1. Enter how many codes to generate (up to 200 at a time).
  2. Choose Generate.

Each code is a unique string that can be used once. Generate more whenever you need them; each run adds to the batch, so you can start with a handful and top up later. Every code carries the voucher’s discounts, so you set those up once and every code gives the same offer.

The codes table shows every code in the batch and, for each:

  • Its status: unused, or claimed.
  • Who used it and when.
  • The order it was used on, which you can open directly.

A summary shows the totals at a glance: how many codes exist, how many are still unused, and how many have been claimed.

You can delete a code that has not been used yet, for example if you generated too many. A code that has already been used cannot be deleted, so its record stays attached to the order it was used on.
