Orders

Every ticket, add-on, and merch purchase on your site is part of an orderA single purchase placed at one point in time, such as one or more tickets and any add-ons bought together. Each order is placed by one person, who is normally also the one paying, and has its own invoice number. When one person registers several people at once (for example, a parent booking for their children), that is still a single order and one bill covering everyone in that booking.: a single booking by one person, with its own invoice. This area is where you approve orders, take and record payment, handle refunds, and chase anything unpaid.

  • Understanding orders explains what an order is, the stages it moves through, and how the money on it adds up. Read this first; the rest of this area builds on it.
  • Approving orders covers checking and confirming placed orders, which is what invoices them and takes payment.
  • Order confirm rules automate that approval so you do not have to confirm each one by hand.
  • Working with an order is a tour of a single order: what it shows and what you can do to it.
  • Payments covers taking and recording payment: manual payments, saved cards, held authorisations, and connecting card payments.
  • Refunds and cancellations covers cancelling or refunding an order and how credit notes work.
  • Overdue orders helps you follow up orders that are past their payment due date.
  • Custom orders lets you raise a one-off order for someone by hand.
  • Vouchers are discount codes for specific items.
  • Settings cover payment options and tax.
